24′ PIGTAIL POWER CORD
Outdoors can be brutal on electrical work, and it might be necessary to replace the wiring for the controls and sensors connected to your awning motor. This 24′ pigtail power cord is a standard four-wire cord with a grounding wire as the fourth connection. A pigtail electrical cord typically has the receptacle at one end, and the wiring is left exposed at the other end so it can be wired directly to the motor. This cord is insulated for protection against environmental exposure.
Once you identify where to make the connection, it is as easy as wiring a light switch. Make sure the power is turned off to the outlet, and connect each wire to the corresponding wire on the motor. You will want to apply protection to the wires so they are not exposed, then tuck them back into the awning housing.
